Youth Retreats

Alabaré Youth offer retreats to meet the individual needs of your group. Located in the heart of the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury we offer both day and residential retreats for young people aged 14 +. Contact us

Confirmation Retreats

A retreat is an essential part of the Confirmation programme. It is a time to have fun, build friendships and encourage the young people to enter into a personal relationship with God. A confirmation programme may come near the end of the programme but we have found it is just the start of a young person’s journey. Alabaré Youth will continue to support your group. By popular demand we have held reunion retreats and supported young people in establishing youth groups. Contact us

Parish Youth Retreats

It is true that the young people in our parish are the future, but they are also a vibrant part of the parish today. Bringing the youth of your parish away on retreat is a lot of fun and can often help lay the foundations for the parish to begin its own youth ministry. Contact us

A recent retreat

Salisbury Deanery Confirmation Retreat (6-7th May)
The 2005 Confirmation group from the catholic deanery of Salisbury came to Alabaré House for their retreat.

The theme was mission impossible, but luckily nothing self destructed. The retreat gave an opportunity for all the young people to take a bit of time out and reflect on themselves as well as explore why confirmation is the start of a mission and share on how it can look and feel impossible.

The weekend was great fun and we look forward to joining the 2005 confirmation group with those who have gone before it, meeting together at Alabaré Youth meetings on Sundays 7:30pm – 9pm @ Alabaré House.
