Poetry, Prayer and Embroidery

The weekend will be based on the theme of 'Weaving ideas with words and structures'

JANET MOORE

Janet Moore has always had an interest in embroidery, textiles and patchwork. She is very enthusiastic about stitching and is mainly self taught.

She has run a variety of workshops in Devon, Suffolk and Sussex where she now lives. She is a committed Catholic.

THELMA LACOCK

Thelma is a graduate of English Literature and a poet. She has had two collections published. She has led workshops throughout England and Germany and has read her own poems at a poetry festival in Jerusalem.

CANNON CHARMION MANN

Charmion is a retired vicar of a rural parish in Wiltshire. She lives with her architect husband and has four grandchildren with whom she spends much of her time.

She is a committed member of the Creative Arts Movement C.A.R.M and is a member of the Council.

She is also a member of the Third Order of Franciscans and spends time leading retreats and Spiritual direction.
